Netflix has delivered our first look at the\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/entertainment\/tv-movies\/bridgertons-rege-jean-page-has-quashed-rumours-of-his-return\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bridgerton<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>prequel (based on the life of a young Queen Charlotte) and we\u2019re already in love with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Netflix held fan event Tudum over the weekend and dropped the first teaser trailer for the limited series,&nbsp;<em>Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exclusive first look at the series shows the first encounter of a young Queen Charlotte and her soon-to-be husband, King George.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>King George approaches Queen Charlotte as she attempts to escape the palace garden trying to avoid him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can catch the full teaser below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XUONzsAzv1I\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story&nbsp;<\/em>is set to follow the origins of Queen Charlotte and her \u201crise to prominence and power\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per Netflix, the limited series will tell \u201cthe story of how the young Queen\u2019s marriage to King George sparked both a great love story and a societal shift, creating the world of the Ton inherited by the characters in\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/entertainment\/tv-movies\/bridgerton-heartthrob-rege-jean-page-is-reportedly-returning-to-the-show\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bridgerton<\/a><\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India Amarteifio will take on the role of a young Queen Charlotte in the prequel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.novafm.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/image-4-1024x683.png\" alt=\"bridgerton prequel\" class=\"wp-image-416740\"\/><figcaption>India Amarteifio as a young Queen Charlotte.
