Veggies through the week and chocolate on the weekend, etc.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There are some health-fads that we are all for. Kale? Sure. Almond milk? Big yes, especially for the lactose intolerant peeps.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But there\u2019s a new trend we cannot (and downright refuse) to get behind: cauliflower lattes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n\n  <img data-original=https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/giphy-145.gif alt=\"gross disney GIF\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" \/>\n  <noscript><img src=https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/giphy-145.gif alt=\"gross disney GIF\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" ><\/noscript>\n\n<\/p>\n<p>Yep, cauliflower lattes are now a thing and we have questions. Well, one question: why?&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The world has enough lattes options &#8211; there\u2019s regular milk, soy milk, almond milk, and oat milk &#8211; why the hell do we need another one?&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And WHY cauliflower??&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, cauliflower lattes are a \u201ccreamier\u201d alternative to, wait for it, broccoli lattes. There\u2019s a whole world of vegetable coffee we didn\u2019t even know existed and, honestly, we feel violated.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At this year\u2019s Hort Connections conference in Melbourne, the fruit and veg industry spoke about all things cauliflower lattes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBroccoli latte was a great story, a bit of a novelty to create awareness on what is possible,\u201d Fresh Select CEO and farmer, John Said, explained to ABC Rural.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur thinking was that cauliflower is a bit more creamier and its colour is similar to milk, and it wouldn\u2019t look like a green coffee.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, still doesn\u2019t sound appealing mate.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n\n  <img data-original=https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/giphy-146.gif alt=\"no thank you please GIF\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" \/>\n  <noscript><img src=https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/giphy-146.gif alt=\"no thank you please GIF\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" ><\/noscript>\n\n<\/p>\n<p>The one upside to cauliflower lattes is that they\u2019re packed full of health benefits.
