How fortunate we were to have him in our lives. On behalf of Bill\u2019s family and myself, I would like to thank the public for the great support given to Bill over the years,&#8221; she said.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Foxtel has just announced the passing of &quot;Mr Movies&quot; Bill Collins OAM <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/UqjDc3Ka9I\">pic.twitter.com\/UqjDc3Ka9I<\/a><\/p>&mdash; TV Blackbox (@TV_Blackbox) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TV_Blackbox\/status\/1141898342865096704?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 21, 2019<\/a><\/blockquote>&#13;\n<script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<p>Foxtel &#8211; for whom Bill was a presenter &#8211;&nbsp;issued a touching tribute:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;Bill was 84 and lived a life filled with love and devotion for and from his family,\u201d the statement read.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt was also filled with passion for movies and Hollywood and all the adventures and opportunities associated with his 55 year career in the entertainment industry.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cBill introduced generations of Australians to the world of movies.
