{"id":1521,"date":"2019-05-30T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-05-30T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/uncategorised\/disneyland-launch-star-wars-themed-park-california\/"},"modified":"2019-05-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2019-05-30T00:00:00","slug":"disneyland-launch-star-wars-themed-park-california","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/entertainment\/disneyland-launch-star-wars-themed-park-california\/","title":{"rendered":"Disneyland Launch Star Wars-Themed Park In California"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hold onto your blaster, &#8217;cause Disneyland has officially welcomed a Star Wars-themed park in California.<\/p>\n<p>The park, named&nbsp;Star Wars: Galaxy&#8217;s Edge, was officially welcomed by actors Mark Hamil (Luke Skywalker), creator George Lucas,&nbsp;Billy Dee Williams&nbsp;(Lando Calrissian) and Harrison Ford (Han Solo) with fireworkers and a dedication to actor Peter Mayhew who played Chewbacca and sadly passed away in April of this year.<\/p>\n<p>The land will offer visitors the chance to step into the Millennium Falcon&#8217;s cockpit and control a simulated flight.
