I didn&#8217;t want to take any risks \u2013 especially after what I&#8217;d been through already \u2013 so I booked in and was referred to a specialist.\u201d<\/em><\/blockquote>\nThe doctor confirmed it was cancer and Nic had surgery to remove the testicle, along with two rounds of chemotherapy.\n<blockquote><em>&#8220;I wouldn&#8217;t wish it upon anyone.&nbsp;<\/em>\n\n<em>&#8220;It&#8217;s exhausting. You don&#8217;t want to get it once \u2013 let alone twice.<\/em>\n\n<em>&#8220;But there&#8217;s always somebody worse off out there. If I can help and get one person to go and get checked and save their life, then job done.&#8221;<\/em><\/blockquote>\nNic is now in remission and no longer requires chemotherapy. However, he has found dealing with the repercussions of reality television difficult during this time.&nbsp;\n<blockquote><em>&#8220;I know whatever I&#8217;m going through has nothing to do with our relationship and the show, but it&#8217;s disappointing.<\/em>\n\n<em>&#8220;I&#8217;ve got enough to deal with. After chemo, I was exhausted; my body was shutting down. It was just crap. And I&#8217;ve had to deal with [Cyrell] and try to keep her calm.
