Tell your stories. If people wanted you to write warmly about them, they should have behaved better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shelly Horton &#8211; TV presenter and producer&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s nice to be important, but it\u2019s important to be nice.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And I think that that is so true, particularly on International Women\u2019s Day when we\u2019re reminding everyone that\u2019s it\u2019s all about equality, so treat everyone the same.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Laura Dundovic &#8211; actor and model<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The best bit of advice given to me would have to be from my mother; from a very young age she taught us how important it was to stay true to who you are. This was everything from picking what sport I wanted to play, to the subjects I did, to what I wanted to do after school, to how I&nbsp;dressed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She always taught me that it was important to go by what I thought and not just follow the crowd\u2026&nbsp;and while it is important to learn from other people and to grow, when there\u2019s something you really believe in you shouldn\u2019t compromise that for someone else.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elyse Knowles &#8211; model<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cNever change for anyone\u2026 be you and only you.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tash Sefton &#8211; fashion curator<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A piece of advice that someone gave me, actually when I was in high school &#8211; they said to me that I would amount to nothing and marry a rich guy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This advice is the thing that drove me in my career and has single-handedly made me achieve bigger than my goals.
