Of course you do. And we have the perfect show that ticks all of those^ boxes and more: SPAMALOT<\/em>. <\/p>\n

The musical, presented by Hayes Theatre Co, is a loving rip off from the the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail. <\/p>\n

The musical re-tells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table but with a unique twist. <\/p>\n

Guided by the fabulous belting diva The Lady of the Lake, the knights battle their way past various cows, killer rabbits, and French people in pursuit of claiming the legendary Grail.<\/p>\n

Not how we remember the original story but we\u2019re definitely curious (and a little scared. What exactly is a killer rabbit?). <\/p>\n

The tongue-in-cheek production includes a diverse, cross-gender cast of heroic\/foolish actors (and their assistant stage manager), \u2018artistic\u2019 backdrops, a CD player, and \u2013 of course \u2013 a large dose of meta-theatrical humour. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really excited to mount this brand new production of Monty Python\u2019s Spamalot – the anarchic, rule-breaking, hilarious world of Python is such a great fit for the Hayes\u201d, said Director Richard Carroll.\u201d  <\/p>\n

\u201cIn 2019 we know that comedy knows no racial or gender barriers, and I\u2019m excited to see a new generation of diverse performers (including some gender-swapped casting) bring new life to this beloved material. Thanks to the audience, it will be different every night – which I believe is what makes theatre so exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Monty Python\u2019s SPAMALOT<\/em><\/u> was a smash hit in both New York and London, and won the Tony Award for Best Musical. <\/p>\n

The production re-defines the word \u2018epic\u2019. Really, really re-defines it.<\/p>\n
