Your head enters a vortex of thought that triggers our natural stress response and sleep is a long way off.&nbsp;<br><br \/>\n\t\tTogether with Blooms The Chemist, we\u2019re tucking you in for a good night\u2019s sleep. We\u2019ll run through the most important elements to factor into a healthy sleep routine. Take a step back from the chaos of life to put a stop to the tossing and turning.<br><br \/>\n\t\tFollow these steps to tap into your natural circadian rhythm and develop a healthy routine that\u2019ll set you up for the day and night.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Try practising mindfulness.&nbsp;<\/strong><br><br \/>\n\t\tDaily practice is a wonderful way to return yourself to the present, especially when you\u2019re in the midst of a mental vortex \u2014 both during the day and when you\u2019re trying to sleep. Try these simple steps day as a way to reconnect your mind and body.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>~ Take three deep breaths every time you begin a new task.&nbsp;<br><br \/>\n\t\t~ Mentally acknowledge the task you are performing. This will help you stay in the present moment.&nbsp;<br><br \/>\n\t\t~ Meditate for three minutes. Sit still and repeat the words, \u201cI am calm. I am restful\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Separate your work and rest space.&nbsp;<\/strong><br><br \/>\n\tIf you work from home \u2013 good for you \u2013 make sure you keep your laptop away from your bed.
