It’s been a couple of days since that bombshell Bachelorette <\/em>finale<\/a> and to be honest, we’re still trying to wrap our heads around exactly happened.<\/p>\n

Ali choosing Taite over Todd certainly wasn’t what many viewers expected and it certainly broke the poor bloke’s heart.<\/p>\n

But it turns out that the finale was even more crushing than what we initially saw because Todd was ready to drop down on one knee and ask Ali THE big question.<\/p>\n

According to TV Week<\/em><\/a>, Todd had a sparking diamond engagement ring in his pocket and was ready to propose to Ali during the finale.<\/p>\n

“Yes it was an engagement ring. But I didn’t really have a plan, I was going to go in and feel it out and if the timing was right, I would have proposed.<\/em><\/p>\n

“Watching it over, it’s like I’m in love again. It’s quite sad really because you relive the journey and all the feelings from the start.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

After reliving the series finale months after it was shot, Todd also admits that it’s made moving on quite tough. No surprises there since you’re living out what should’ve been your happiest moment only for it to turn into your most heartbreaking.<\/p>\n

“What a bloody rollercoaster,” he says of watching the episode. “I cried watching it back, it brought back a lot of feelings that I didn’t really expect it to. So it was an emotional night.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Poor guy.<\/p>\n
