They just came out of nowhere.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2F7newssydney%2Fvideos%2F638008559933890%2F&#038;show_text=0&#038;width=560\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowTransparency=\"true\" allowFullScreen=\"true\"><\/iframe>\n<p>Woolworths had recently increased the number of formula tins customers could buy in one transaction, changing the limit from two to eight, arguing they had increased their supply of the product.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson has since confirmed they have reverted back to their two-tin limit, after massive public outcry to Barak&#8217;s viral video.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;We can confirm from next week the baby formula limit will revert to two tins per transaction.<br><br \/>\n\t\t&#8220;We&#8217;ll closely monitor our on-shelf availability and feedback from customers as we make this adjustment.&nbsp;<br><br \/>\n\t\t&#8220;We will communicate this limit to our store teams and ensure our customers are advised by displaying signs in our stores.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Baby formula is hot property for personal shoppers, who buy the product in bulk from Aussie supermarkets to sell at an inflated price in China to desperate mothers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" class=\"media-element file-media-original nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" data-delta=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/baby-drinking-milk.gif\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s wrong with the baby formula in China? Back in 2008, a national disaster saw six babies die and 300,000 more fall sick after consuming baby formula laced with melamine.<\/p>\n<p>Add to that the fact that China regularly struggles with food safety and pollution problems &#8211; Chinese parents just think Western baby formula is a safer choice for their child.
