{"id":2661,"date":"2018-09-30T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-09-30T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/uncategorised\/clone-richie-strahan-and-alex-nation-have-both-been-cast-bachelor-paradise-0\/"},"modified":"2018-09-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2018-09-30T00:00:00","slug":"clone-richie-strahan-and-alex-nation-have-both-been-cast-bachelor-paradise-0","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/entertainment\/clone-richie-strahan-and-alex-nation-have-both-been-cast-bachelor-paradise-0\/","title":{"rendered":"Richie Strahan and Alex Nation have BOTH been cast for Bachelor In Paradise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Former Bachelor Richie Strahan and his season\u2019s winner, now-ex-girlfriend Alex Nation, have both been cast in the forthcoming season of<em> Bachelor In Paradise.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This is TOO MUCH.<\/p>\n<p>Richie\u2019s season divided the country as he chose the amorous Alex over girl-next-door Nikki Gogan &#8211; making Richie and Alex Australia\u2019s most hated couple post-finale.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"BACHELOR RICHIE ALEX\" title=\"ENTERTAINMENT\" height=\"1400\" width=\"932\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" class=\"media-element file-default nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" data-delta=\"2\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/richie_alex.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The relationship lasted a year &#8211; with Alex then starting a relationship with Maegan Luxa, who she met playing football.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/newidea.com.au\"><em>New Idea<\/em><\/a> report that production company Warner Bros. and Channel Ten were \u201cworking for months\u201d to convince Richie and Alex to appear on the island love series, which starts filming in November.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cProducers wanted these old lovers to join them in Fiji last year, but the timing was all wrong.<br><br \/>\n\t\t\u201cAlex\u2019s relationship with Maegan Luxa was in full swing and they had just moved into a Mornington Peninsula home with Alex\u2019s son Elijah.\u201d<br><br \/>\n\t\t\u201cRichie was heartbroken and certainly not ready to sign up to yet another reality TV show so soon after being publicly dumped just months earlier.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The magazine reports that the pair finally agreed after being offered \u201csignificant appearance fees\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"the bachelor choclate bath\" title=\"reality tv\" height=\"301\" width=\"458\" style=\"width: 807px; height: 530.359px;\" class=\"media-element file-media-original nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" data-delta=\"3\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/bath_chocolate.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This casting bombshell is bound to send heads rolling at Bachie HQ &#8211; apparently Richie and Alex weren\u2019t supposed to know each other were cast.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThis was meant to have a big element of surprise attached to it.<br><br \/>\n\t\t\u201cRichie and Alex are not meant to know that the other person has been confirmed for the series.
