While it was reported this week that Camilla Parker Bowles tried to break up Prince William and Kate Middleton, it seems the opposite is true for Prince Charles and Meghan Markle.<\/p>\n

A source close to the royals has told Vanity Fair<\/em><\/a> that Prince Charles loves Meghan, who married Prince Harry in May this year.<\/p>\n\n

They said:<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s got a real soft spot for her and thinks she\u2019s the best thing to have happened to Harry.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Charles stepped in for Meghan\u2019s dad and walked the Duchess of Sussex down the aisle. <\/p>\n

Rumours began swirling last week that Charles was feuding with Harry and William, however, Clarence House called the story \u201ccomplete fiction\u201d. <\/em><\/p>\n

A source revealed the family is closer than ever:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe wedding was a real turning point.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cCharles showed so much love towards Harry and Meghan, and I think Harry will be eternally grateful to his papa for stepping in and giving Meghan\u2019s hand in marriage.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThe bond between them is very close.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

They also added Prince Charles is \u201ccloser than ever<\/em>\u201d to Harry and is forming a \u201clovely relationship with the <\/em>duchess<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

Meghan\u2019s father has made a habit of going to the press and it appears Prince Charles sympathises with his daughter-in-law.<\/p>\n

The source added:<\/p>\n

\u201cCharles has been very supportive of Meghan and everything she is going through with her own father.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
