Netflix has reportedly introduced the last thing we ever thought we’d see on the platform \u2013 ads. <\/p>\n
Cord Cutter News <\/em><\/a>reports the streaming service has started running ads for other video content between shows, it doesn’t seem like that big a deal, but people are really mad about it.<\/p>\n\n The company confirmed the news in a statement to the publication:<\/p>\n “[We] are testing whether surfacing recommendations between episodes helps members discover stories they will enjoy faster.”<\/em><\/p>\n “It is important to note that a member is able to skip a video preview at <\/em>anytime<\/em> if they are not interested.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Many people involved in the test took to Twitter to slam the streaming service:<\/p>\n\n Netflix is doing some things that are pissing me off lately:
1) playing ads for shows I\u2019m not interested in during the 15 second countdown between Office episodes
