Two weeks after news broke of <\/a>Anthony Bourdain\u2019s death, coroners in France have released additional information found after a toxicology report was completed. <\/p>\n\n

As has been reported by news.com.au<\/a>, it\u2019s been discovered that the celebrity chef had no narcotics or alcohol in his system at the time of his passing. <\/p>\n\n

Prosecutor Christian de Rocquigny told Reuters<\/em>:<\/p>\n

\u201c[The report found] No trace of narcotics, no trace of any toxic products, no trace of medicines, no trace of alcohol.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Bourdain spoke openly over the years about his previous battles with substance abuse. <\/p>\n

\u201cMost people who kick heroin and cocaine have to give up on everything. Maybe because my experiences were so awful in the end, I\u2019ve never been tempted to relapse,\u201d he wrote in a Reddit Q&A<\/a> five years back.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Parts Unknown<\/em> star was found unresponsive in his hotel room in France on June 8th (local time). He was 61 years of age. <\/p>\n

It is believed that his family will hold a private service for Bourdain in the coming weeks. <\/p>\n
