It may appear as though Meghan Markle doesn\u2019t have a care in the world since marrying Prince Harry a month ago, but sources claim the Duchess of Sussex is extremely upset that her father spoke out about her relationship.<\/p>\n

Thomas Markle gave an interview with ITV\u2019s Good Morning Britain<\/em> this week and revealed how Prince Harry asked him for permission to ask Meghan for her hand in marriage. He also told of our he was \u201cjealous\u201d of Prince Charles for getting to walk Meghan down the aisle on her big day.<\/p>\n\n

Royal expert, Richard Fitzwilliams told The Express<\/em><\/a>:<\/p>\n

\u201cHarry and Meghan will undoubtedly be upset by this\u2026 Thomas Markle is reclusive, his health is poor and he obviously feels under strain. It was an emotional interview.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Mr Markle pulled out of the wedding just days before he was due to accompany her down the aisle. He was admitted to hospital for heart surgery after suffering a heart attack a week before Meghan\u2019s wedding.<\/p>\n

He told Good Morning Britain<\/em> he couldn\u2019t \u201cthink of a better replacement than someone like Prince Charles\u201d<\/em> to instead walk her down the aisle. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe looked very handsome and my daughter looked beautiful with him.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI was jealous\u2026 I wish I had been there, I wish it had been me but thank god he was there and I thank him for that.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Surprisingly, Meghan\u2019s only family at the wedding was her mother Doria Ragland.<\/p>\n
