Missing toddler William Tyrrell\u2019s biological father Brendan Collins has revealed to the Daily Telegraph<\/a><\/em> that he has been searching bushland with a shovel in the hopes he will find his son.<\/p>\n

Collins was recently released from Silverwater jail after being convicted of eight charges of having stolen items in his possession as well as drug possession. He\u2019s since spent all his free time searching for his son.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cI’m so sorry for whoever’s done this to you <\/em>William<\/em>, I don’t know who took you in your Spiderman suit.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI’ve been out looking for you with a shovel digging in bushland… I know there’s no point. I think you’re dead, I think someone has hurt you bad. I’m so sorry I couldn’t help you.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It\u2019s been almost four years since William went missing from his foster grandmother\u2019s house in Kendall, New South Wales. <\/p>\n

On Wednesday, a new four-week search commenced with forensic crews scouring the NSW mid-north coast bushland for clues.<\/p>\n

Collins revealed he once tried to run away with William when he was just nine months old. After William\u2019s disappearance Collins was the first person questioned by police, saying it was a \u201cslap in the face\u201d. <\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWilliam is constantly on my mind. I don’t know if I’ll ever find him. I’m not sure I want to.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He says when he has some money he will start seeing a psychologist to help him deal with the loss of his son.<\/p>\n

\u201cI get flashbacks of him in that Spiderman suit playing in the garden.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
