She was amazing. So strong and brave. She wore the boots you bought her. At the time of his death, he had been dating Asia Argento.<\/p>\n<p>The much-loved celebrity chef wrote about fatherhood in his cookbook <em>Appetites<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cFatherhood has been an enormous relief, as I am now genetically, instinctually compelled to care more about someone other than myself. I like being a father. No, I love being a father. Everything about it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Bourdain was found in his hotel room in France on Friday with French authorities confirming to <em>Associated Press<\/em> he had taken his own life.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The star\u2019s mother, Gladys Bourdain, told <em><a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2018\/06\/10\/anthony-bourdains-body-stuck-in-france\/\">Page Six<\/a> <\/em>Busia will be handling the funeral plans as she is legally his next of kin.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cAlthough they\u2019re separated, she\u2019ll be in charge of whatever happens\u2026 We haven\u2019t talked for a couple days.
