It\u2019s been five days since we learnt that the youngest member of the royal family had been named Louis Arthur Charles<\/a> (sounds regal, doesn\u2019t it?) and while everyone has their assumptions, we\u2019ve never been told outright how to pronounce the young Prince\u2019s name. <\/p>\n\n

As we’re sure you’re all aware, there are two possible ways to pronounce the moniker. The first, and probably most common, being \u201cLoo-ee\u201d and the second being \u201cLoo-is\u201d. <\/p>\n\n

Now, the Royals have never specified how they will be pronouncing Prince Louis\u2019 title, but Yahoo 7<\/em><\/a> has done a little digging and discovered the answer… just in case you\u2019re wondering. <\/p>\n

Both Wills and Kate have actually been captured saying the name Louis out loud once before\u2026 and that was on their wedding day. <\/p>\n

A quick peek at the footage of their Royal Wedding<\/a> shows that when both William and Kate said Will’s full name (William Arthur Philip Louis) they pronounced the name, \u201cLoo-ee\u201d. <\/p>\n

Assumedly, this implies the new Prince\u2019s name will be said the same way. <\/p>\n

So, if you\u2019ve been calling the new royal Prince \u201cLoo-is\u201d, time to switch that up, guys!<\/p>\n
