Speaking with Daily Mail<\/em><\/a>, Bachelor In Paradise<\/em> star Grant Kemp has slammed his ex Ali Oetjen for saying he only dated her for fame.<\/p>\n

The American model told the publication he wouldn’t have chosen someone who “hasn’t been on TV for years”<\/em> if he was looking to raise his profile.<\/p>\n\n

“If I was trying to chase fame by dating someone I wouldn’t have dated the girl who hasn’t been on TV for years.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The comments come following fellow BIP star Leah Costa saying he broke Ali’s heart and only stayed on the show for his profile.<\/p>\n

Leah said Grant thought coupling up with Ali would be the “easiest way” to stay on the show. <\/p>\n

Speaking with Yahoo Be<\/em>, Leah said:<\/p>\n

“I’ve actually spoken to Ali since and she was like, ‘I should’ve listened to you. You warned me.'”<\/em><\/p>\n

“And I was like, ‘Yup, Grant just wants to be famous’. I feel really sorry for her \u2013 I don’t think she deserved to have her heart broken.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“She really did want to find love and I think Grant just chose the easiest way of staying there… she got caught in the crossfire.’<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In 2016, Grant was accused of breaking up with his long-term girlfriend to appear on The Bachelorette. <\/em><\/p>\n

Grant and Ali just confessed their love for one another on Bachelor In Paradise<\/em> and in promos for the finale episodes Ali is heard saying she hopes Grant will propose. <\/p>\n
