{"id":3577,"date":"2018-04-26T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-04-26T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/uncategorised\/matt-le-blanc-reveals-gross-moment-friends\/"},"modified":"2018-04-26T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2018-04-26T00:00:00","slug":"matt-le-blanc-reveals-gross-moment-friends","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/entertainment\/matt-le-blanc-reveals-gross-moment-friends\/","title":{"rendered":"Matt LeBlanc reveals the gross moment we all missed in Friends"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hands up if you remember the Friends episode &#8216;The One Where Ross Got High&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Okay, for those of you who did the awkward, &#8216;hand sort of up, sort of down&#8217; thing, it&#8217;s the one where Rachel makes half English trifle half shepherd&#8217;s pie.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cFirst there\u2019s a layer of ladyfingers, then a layer of jam, then custard, which I made from scratch, then raspberries, more ladyfingers, then beef sauteed with peas and onions &#8230;\u201d&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" class=\"media-element file-default nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" data-delta=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/the_one_where_ross_got_high_.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now that we&#8217;ve jogged your memory, we&#8217;ve got a little goss to share courtesy of&nbsp;<em>The Graham Norton Show.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Matt LeBlanc,&nbsp;who played Joey, shared a funny incident from the set while on the show.<\/p>\n<p>While the fictional version of the doomed dessert is undeniably foul, Matt revealed to Graham Norton that the trifle the actors ate was just made up of bananas and whipped cream.<\/p>\n<p>At first.<\/p>\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/i5YckMkwmm4\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThere was too much on his [David Schwimmer&#8217;s] plate,\u201d LeBlanc explained.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSo he starts to eat it all and he can\u2019t finish it and he starts laughing, so we cut. As we\u2019re cutting, he kind of spits it back on his plate. I\u2019m sitting right next to him, and I\u2019m looking the other way. I didn\u2019t see him spit it back on his plate.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>And here&#8217;s where things get a bit&#8230; yuck.<\/p>\n<p>Not knowing his co-star&#8217;s plate had been sullied, LeBlanc scooped some of the regurgitated trifle onto his own plate and called for the cameras to start rolling.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cI go, \u2018Here, let\u2019s go again.\u2019 And we go again. And I\u2019m eating it and we finished the take. No one says anything to me,\u201d he explained.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In fact, it wasn\u2019t until the wrap party that he discovered the truth.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWe\u2019re watching the blooper reel and I go, \u2018Oh, I love this.
