{"id":3596,"date":"2018-04-23T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-04-23T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/uncategorised\/clone-tracey-mafs-postpones-plans-move-melb-sean\/"},"modified":"2018-04-23T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2018-04-23T00:00:00","slug":"clone-tracey-mafs-postpones-plans-move-melb-sean","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/lifestyle\/clone-tracey-mafs-postpones-plans-move-melb-sean\/","title":{"rendered":"Tracey Jewel of MAFS postpones plans to move to Melb with Sean Thomsen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A little under a month after news broke that <a href=\"\/entertainment\/what-tracey-jewel-moving-across-country-without-her-daughter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tracey Jewel was moving to Melbourne with her new man Sean Thomsen<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/entertainment\/clone-what-tracey-jewel-moving-across-country-without-her-daughter-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">,<\/a> the reality TV star has announced that she\u2019s pumped the breaks on her plans and will be staying put for a while longer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>The former <em>MAFS<\/em> \u2018bride\u2019 sat down with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nowtolove.com.au\/reality-tv\/married-at-first-sight\/tracey-jewel-mental-breakdown-46659\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>NW<\/em><\/a> and revealed that the experience of watching her <em>Married At First Sight<\/em> journey play out on TV left her in an awful state\u2026 so much so, that she felt she needed to seek out psychiatric help.<\/p>\n\n<p>Jewel, 35, explained that being cheated on <em>\u201cis probably one of my biggest insecurities\u201d <\/em>and that watching it all play out <em>\u201cwas the catalyst of my issues\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The mother-of-one went on to share that she has since been diagnosed with PTSD:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;As the show started to air I just couldn&#8217;t cope. I found a psychiatrist in Perth and she told me I had PTSD [Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder]. I shut down all my emotions during filming as a form of self-protection and to get through it,\u201d she said.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;But having to relive it again as the show aired has been really overwhelming. Everything I blocked out started bubbling to the surface and I knew I needed help.
