{"id":39476,"date":"2020-02-04T04:37:03","date_gmt":"2020-02-04T04:37:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/?p=39476"},"modified":"2020-02-26T11:46:01","modified_gmt":"2020-02-26T00:46:01","slug":"colette-by-colette-hayman-announce-voluntary-administration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/lifestyle\/shopping\/colette-by-colette-hayman-announce-voluntary-administration\/","title":{"rendered":"Colette by Colette Hayman Announce Voluntary Administration"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The CBCH group, the folks behind jewellery and accessories chain, Colette by Colette Hayman, was placed into voluntary administration late last month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A statement revealed that Deloitte Restructuring Services partners Vaughan Strawbridge, Sam Marsden and Jason Tracy have been appointed administrators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cColette By Colette Hayman has, unfortunately, been impacted by the current weak retail environment, as have many others,\u201d Mr Strawbridge said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur focus is on continuing to trade the business while we seek either a recapitalisation of the group or a sale of the business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGiven the strength of the brand we are confident we will be able to secure a future for the business and preserve the employment of as many people as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B722zPAgRcu\/media\/?size=l\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B722zPAgRcu\/embed\/?cr=1&amp;v=12\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr Strawbridge confirmed gift cards would be honoured and employees\u2019 wages and other entitlements paid out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The change affects 96 Australian branches \u2013 37 branches in NSW, 33 in Victoria, 30 in Queensland, 15 in Western Australia, six in South Australia, three in the ACT, one in Tasmania and one in the Northern Territory \u2013 and 14 in New Zealand.&nbsp;<br><br>The news comes after&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.novafm.com.au\/news\/jeanswest-goes-into-voluntary-administration-nearly-1000-employees-in-limbo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jeanswest<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.novafm.com.au\/lifestyle\/shopping\/one-of-your-fave-fashion-brands-just-went-into-voluntary-administration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bardot<\/a>&nbsp;also announced voluntary administration.<br><br>Image: Instagram \/ @colettebycolettehayman<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The CBCH group, the folks behind jewellery and accessories chain, Colette by Colette Hayman, was placed into voluntary administration late last month.
