On Wednesday it appeared another Married At First Sight<\/em> wife swap had happened when Ryan Gallagher and Ashley Irvin were spotted grocery shopping together in Queensland. The pair had a lot of tongues wagging about the possibility that they had ditched their original partners and were now together. <\/p>\n

Ryan has now set the record straight, however, after chatting with The Canberra Times<\/em><\/a> about the situation. The 29-year-old revealed the pair had simply made plans to hang out because he was in Queensland helping his father, who has Parkinson’s disease, on a building job near Ash’s home. <\/p>\n\n

He explained:<\/p>\n

“I rang her and said, ‘What are you doing?’ And she said, ‘Just playing tennis all day, I’m not working’. And I said, ‘I’ll play tennis, I’m coming.'”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Adding that the pair isn’t in a relationship, and were simply running errands:<\/p>\n

“On the way back, her parents wanted something from Woollies so we stopped in the shops and the video was taken. It looks like we’re bloody going back to our own apartment. But we’re definitely not together. Just friends.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n
