Sure, there\u2019s obviously no \u201cone size fits all\u201d approach to romantic relationships, but that certainly doesn\u2019t mean you won\u2019t be a little curious.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Fez love romance Fox GIF\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" class=\"media-element file-media-original nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" data-delta=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/giphy_695.gif\" title=\"\" \/><\/p>\n\n<p>For this reason, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elitedaily.com\/p\/when-should-you-say-i-love-you-heres-how-long-most-people-wait-8152572\"><em>Elite Daily<\/em><\/a> has highlighted, the team at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mattressonline.co.uk\/blog\/sleep-news\/how-long-before-we-reveal-our-true-selves-in-a-relationship\/\"><em>Mattress Online<\/em><\/a> surveyed a total of 1,000 people on their experience of coming clean about being in love and their insights are pretty damn interesting.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The survey showed that more than 50 per cent of people generally wait at least 3 months before saying <em>\u201cI love you\u201d<\/em> and that\u2019s both men and women (52 per cent and 56 per cent, respectively).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Looking at the earlier stages of the relationship, 32 per cent of women and 29 per cent of men were happy to say the big three words within the space of one to three months, showing that a good chunk of people are keen to dive on in fairly quickly.<\/p>\n<p>And when it comes to the hopeless romantics, it seems men are far more likely to fall fast than women. The study showed that men are more than twice as likely as women to bring out the ILYs after just one week.
