The Starlight Children\u2019s Foundations\u2019s biggest national fundraiser – Starlight Day, is back Friday 1 May.

Starlight<\/a> need your help to raise $250,000 to deliver fun and happiness to more than 5,000 seriously ill and hospitalised children around the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starlight Day aims to raise much-needed funds to support sick kids through its hospital services – the Starlight Express Room<\/strong> and Captain Starlight<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a Starlight Express Room in every children\u2019s hospital in\nAustralia and over 180 Captain Starlights nationally, every child admitted to\nhospital, regardless of their illness or injury, can access these vital\nservices with their family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CEO of Starlight Children\u2019s Foundation, Louise Baxter, said: \u201cHappiness is critical to a sick child\u2019s development and to building resilience. The work Starlight does to support sick kids in every children\u2019s hospital nationally is only made possible through the community, who we rely on for support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every donation given before midnight on Sunday May 3 will be doubled by Starlight\u2019s partners, meaning your dollars will go even futher to delivering happiness to sick kids in hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
