We were all wondering how Carrie Bickmore felt about Lisa Wilkinson joining \u2018The Project\u2019.<\/p>\n\n
She’s been the woman of the show for years, now Wilkinson has come over from Nine and found a spot next to her on posters around the country.<\/p>\n\n
Since the announcement, there have been numerous reports there is currently a feud happening between the two, but Wilkinson slammed those rumours.<\/a><\/p>\n And with the TimesUp movement and the rise of women supporting women (YAS GALS), we have no doubt Bickmore is more than happy to share the spotlight on ‘The Project’.<\/p>\n During an interview with news.com.au, Wilkinson said any rumours of a feud are \u201ccomplete fiction.\u201d<\/p>\n Wilkinson said at a lunch in Sydney to celebrate her ambassador role with Nutra Life vitamins and supplements that she \u201ccouldn\u2019t believe it.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI couldn\u2019t believe [there were rumours] because this is complete fiction. <\/em><\/p>\n \u201cCarrie can\u2019t believe it, I can\u2019t believe it. <\/em><\/p>\n \u201cWe refuse to engage in it, because it would only give it credibility and there is no truth to it. Carrie and I have been mates for years.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cWe have a lot of close friends in common as well and for all of us it\u2019s really disappointing that for some reason there\u2019s a belief … that two strong women can\u2019t work together and support each other and enjoy working together.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Bickmore has not commented on the rumours but has shared her support on \u2018The Project\u2019 last year and welcomed Wilkinson with open arms.<\/p>\n \u201cNine\u2019s loss is our gain here at Network Ten.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cAn incredible woman \u2014 smart, funny, down to earth.
