The days of worrying about finding the right home for ourselves and our <a href=\"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/lifestyle\/8-cute-ways-pets-your-wedding\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">furry friends<\/a> are long behind us, and we have dog lover Jo Cooper to thank for it.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The news comes after Jo Cooper won her four-and-a-half-year battle (estimated to cost her $250,000) to give her dog Angus legal residency in her Horizon apartment building which had a pet ban, <em><a aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.domain.com.au\/news\/pets-now-allowed-in-sydney-apartments-as-blanket-ban-on-animals-lifted-by-nsw-court-of-appeal-994936\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Domain<\/a> <\/em>reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed-podcast\/show\/7atRdaOsvf4N7bZxMQxgrn\" width=\"100%\" height=\"232\" frameborder=\"0\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allow=\"encrypted-media\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following Jo\u2019s win in court, the NSW Court of Appeal also ruled that \u201cHorizon should be liable for the costs of all the hearings, which could amount to as much as $500,000 in total for the owners\u201d, the publication added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While Jo\u2019s case is a huge win for the history books, the circumstances for renters however, is still unclear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking with <em><a href=\"https:\/\/Following Jo\u2019s win in court, the NSW Court of Appeal also ruled that \u201cHorizon should be liable for the costs of all the hearings, which could amount to as much as $500,000 in total for the owners\u201d, the publication added.
