Especially as their recommendations are A+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yesterday, Mike introduced us to <em>Broadsheet\u2019s<\/em> mouth-watering recipe for <a href=\"https:\/\/cms.smooth.com.au\/lifestyle\/recipes\/recipe-annabel-crabbs-glass-potatoes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Annabel Crabb\u2019s Glass potatoes <\/a>and this morning, Jen made special mention of Turkish dessert and delicacy Tavuk G\u00f6\u011fs\u00fc &#8211; which she discovered at her new favourite restaurant<em> Tulum &#8211; <\/em>and we just had to track down a recipe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FTulumRestaurant%2Fposts%2F2264072913883028&#038;show_text=true&#038;width=552&#038;height=609&#038;appId\" width=\"552\" height=\"609\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowTransparency=\"true\" allow=\"encrypted-media\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For those who have yet to try the traditional Turkish treat, Tavuk G\u00f6\u011fs\u00fc is a milk pudding with shredded chicken breast. Although we couldn\u2019t get our hands on <em>Tulum\u2019s <\/em>recipe, we did track down an adaptation <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/health\/archive\/2009\/08\/recipe-tavuk-g-s\/23382\/\"><em>The Atlan<\/em><\/a><em><a aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/health\/archive\/2009\/08\/recipe-tavuk-g-s\/23382\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">t<\/a><\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/health\/archive\/2009\/08\/recipe-tavuk-g-s\/23382\/\"><em>ic<\/em><\/a><em> <\/em>shared from <em>Classic Turkish Cooking by Ghillie Ba\u015fan.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed-podcast\/show\/7atRdaOsvf4N7bZxMQxgrn\" width=\"100%\" height=\"232\" frameborder=\"0\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allow=\"encrypted-media\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Feast your eyes the recipe for Tavuk G\u00f6\u011fs\u00fc below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1 chicken breast&nbsp;<\/li><li>3 1\/2 cups milk&nbsp;<\/li><li>1 1\/4 cup heavy cream&nbsp;<\/li><li>1\/4 teaspoon salt&nbsp;<\/li><li>3\/4 cup sugar&nbsp;<\/li><li>5 tablespoons rice flour&nbsp;<\/li><li>Ground cinnamon (optional).<\/li><li>Roasted, unsalted almonds (optional).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Place the chicken breast in a pan with a little water, bring it to boil, reduce the heat, and simmer until the meat is cooked. Drain and tear it into fine threads.<\/li><li>Moisten the rice flour with a little of the milk. Put the rest of the milk into a saucepan with the cream, salt, and sugar, and bring the liquid to boil. Add a few spoonfuls of the hot liquid to the moistened rice flour, and pour the mixture into the pan.<\/li><li>Beat vigorously and continue to cook over a low heat, stirring all the time so it doesn&#8217;t stick to the bottom of the pan, until the mixture begins to thicken. Beat in the fine threads of chicken and continue to cook the mixture until very thick.<\/li><li>At this stage, the pudding can be cooled and eaten plain.
