Happy baking!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>INGREDIENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>500g sugar<\/li><li>125ml milk<\/li><li>1 tablespoon golden syrup<\/li><li>30g butter<\/li><li>1 small tin condensed milk (395g)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>METHOD:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Prepare toffee wrapping paper before cooking. Cut grease-proof paper into rectangles (12cm x 10cm). You\u2019ll need around three dozen rectangles total.<\/li><li>Using a metal-based saucepan, dissolve sugar in milk.<\/li><li>Add golden syrup and butter, heat for 2 minutes and add condensed milk.<\/li><li>Take off heat to stir for 2 minutes.<\/li><li>Reheat and simmer for 20 minutes &#8211; stirring the entire time. [Very important &#8211; you don\u2019t want the mixture to burn!].<\/li><li>Take off heat and cool slightly. Pour into greased tin.<\/li><li>After mixture is cool enough to handle but still warm, use a teaspoon to put a ball of caramel into hand, roll into small ball, then lightly mould into oblong shape &#8211; size should match grease-proof paper.<\/li><li>Place into centre of grease-proof paper, roll paper around mixture then twist ends to secure.
