The greatest.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oats in a mug? Better than in a bowl for sure.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ice-cream in a mug? Bowls are overrated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, when we stumbled across a recipe from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biggerbolderbaking.com\/\">Bigger Bolder Baking <\/a>for a *deep breath* JAM DOUGHNUT IN A MUG we knew &#8211; we just <em>knew &#8211;<\/em> this was gonna be good.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The recipe consists of nine ingredients &#8211; most of which you probably already have in your kitchen arsenal &#8211; and takes just five minutes to whip up.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In fact, we believe it may be the perfect dessert. Apart from the fact it\u2019s called a \u2018mugnut\u2019 but we\u2019ll overlook that little tidbit.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.memesmonkey.com\/images\/memesmonkey\/02\/02be00c598061c97fd8a49aff6bf2605.jpeg\" alt=\"I said what i said Memes\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One mug = one serve so you don\u2019t have to share. But if you\u2019re feeling generous just, you know, make more mugs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Introducing the Jam Doughnut In A Mug (read: NOT a mugnut):&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>2 tablespoons (1oz\/30g) Butter<\/li><li>4 tablespoons all-purpose flour<\/li><li>1 egg yolk &#8211; this can be replaced with with 2 tablespoons of banana or apple sauce for a VEGAN alternative<\/li><li>2 tablespoons sugar<\/li><li>1 tablespoon milk<\/li><li>1\/2 teaspoon baking powder<\/li><li>1\/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon<\/li><li>1 tablespoon strawberry jam<\/li><li>Cinnamon sugar to garnish<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Place butter into a microwavable mug and microwave until just melted (roughly 20 seconds)<\/li><li>Add in the remaining ingredients; mix well with a fork until just combined<\/li><li>Once the batter is mixed place the spoonful of jam into the batter to get a jammy center<\/li><li>Microwave for 45 seconds or until it is firm on top. (Cooking time is based on a 1200W microwave so your timing might vary). Always keep a close eye on your mug while in the microwave so it doesn\u2019t overflow or overcook.<\/li><li>ALTERNATIVELY, bake your mug doughnut in the oven at 180\u00b0C for roughly 10-12 minutes.
