We may still<\/em> be recovering from the whirlwind that was last season of Married At First Sight Australia <\/em>but it\u2019s not far from making a grand return – 2023 is just four months away – with production well underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s right, as we speak a heap of strangers are meeting, getting hitched and bringing undoubtable drama into our lives.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which normally, we wouldn\u2019t be complaining about. The weddings are one of the best, if not, the most exciting part of the \u2018social experiment\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is until we learned that an ambulance was called to one of the 2023 MAFS weddings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Megan Pustetto revealed the news in her podcast So Dramatic!<\/a> <\/em>explaining that medical assistance was provided to one of the wedding guests while filming in Byron Bay.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A spokesperson for Endemol Shine Australia has since addressed the incident in a statement obtained by Pedestrian<\/em><\/a>, saying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAn ambulance was called when a guest required medical assistance at a recent Married At First Sight <\/em>wedding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cProduction paused for one hour to focus on the guest\u2019s well-being, and they have since made a full recovery,\u201d the spokesperson said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smooth has reached out to Channel Nine for further comment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
