It\u2019s hard to imagine The Block <\/em>without host Scott Cam but rumours have been swirling that the long time television host is set to retire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cam set the record straight about his plans to retire from Nine’s hit renovation show at the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daily Mail Australia<\/em> reports the 60-year-old builder-turned-reality TV host attended a launch party for the upcoming season of the show and told the crowd he is planning on staying for a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTwo months ago I signed a multiple year deal with the Nine Network. It was an easy decision as I love this show and couldn’t think of going anywhere else,\u201d he told the publication.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

While Cam says he has no immediate plans to call it quits, he did reveal who he would pass the hammer on to when he does make the decision to step away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI reckon the only person who could do it is my current co-host Shelley Craft, that’s right,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
