One of the many things we love about Two Girls One Pod <\/a>host Yvie Jones is her ability to be completely and unapologetically transparent about her life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nothing is off limits and Yvie proves that in the latest episode of TGOP, opening up about her experience with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those unaware, Health Direct defines Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as a \u201ccomplex and disabling illness that causes extreme fatigue and other symptoms that cannot be explained by any other medical condition.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking of her personal experience with the syndrome, Yvie admits that she rarely talks about it because she is \u201coverweight.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere just is this stigma that people won\u2019t believe it and that\u2019s the truth. I know, I can see it in people, they just don\u2019t believe it,\u201d Yvie said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yvie also reveals that living with CFS is one of those things you just have to manage: \u201cIt\u2019s mostly diet and sleep when you need it. There\u2019ll be days when you just can\u2019t get out of bed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou have these crashes and depending on what you do in your life depends on how bad the crashes can be. But the crashes come anyway, so I had to learn that the hard way,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yvie also mentions that \u2018\u2018Chronic Fatigue Syndrome\u2019 changes all the time and encourages people – who also suffer with the illness – to surround themselves with a positive network of professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Yvie also informed listeners that she had been diagnosed with Addison\u2019s Disease – a rare hormonal condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
