There\u2019s no doubt that Tina Arena<\/a> is one of Australia\u2019s most respected and beloved musicians. She\u2019s the true definition of a \u2018superstar\u2019 but she\u2019s also a professional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So when news broke that her \u2018Love Saves\u2019 Tour was postponed – the first in her entire career – after health concerns<\/a>, you know something really<\/em> wasn\u2019t right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking to Yvie Jones<\/a> on the Two Girls One Pod <\/a>podcast, Tina Arena revealed why she was ultimately \u2018forced\u2019 to cancel her remaining Australian shows last year and the severity of her health condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I had performed two shows of the tour\u2026 And then the next day I flew home in absolute excruciating pain, I’ll never forget it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“And then the day after I was hospitalised and I was in ICU for about six days, nearly seven days. My kidney was very close to exploding because it was highly, highly, infected,\u201d Tina said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thankfully Tina has made a recovery, with the \u2018Chains\u2019 singer adding that she\u2019s now \u201cgetting ready to go on the road.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
